I Sold My Nikon

I’ve been thinking of switching systems for a while now. A lot of my photographer friends have traded in their DSLRs for full-frame mirrorless bodies. Many of them have switched over to Sony. Last week I sold my entire Nikon gear to my local camera store, Tuttle Cameras. I sold them my D600, battery grip, charger, flash, Tokina 24-70 2.8, 50mm 1.8, an older version of the 50mm 1.8, and a 35mm 1.8. The last item is a 35mm for cropped sensor.

I don’t go out and shoot as much as I use to. My camera only gets used once or twice throughout the year. If I do take a camera to photograph something, it tends to be a little point-and-shoot. It’s a Panasonic LX10 so it’s an advanced point-and-shoot. I still want to have an interchangeable lens camera, but I’m definitely going to go mirrorless. I don’t think I’ll go full-frame. I’m really eyeing Olympus at the moment and I’m not even looking at their more advance bodies. I’m looking at their entry-level body, the OMD EM-10 Mark III.
